FOR STUDENT/ PARENT/ TUITION CENTRE

1. Will there be any additional charge for requesting tutors from "Gratify Tuition Services" ?
No, there is no additional charge besides the monthly tuition fees that is required to pay to the tutor.

Student will be required to pay 50% for the tuition fees (based on the first course of lesson )as our commission into our account (One time fee) after the 2nd week of commencement of tuition, and pay the remaining 50% to the tutor after the first one-month( 4 weeks) of tutoring. For subsequent months, tutor will keep the full tuition fees.

2. How can i assure that our personal information is keep in privacy?
Be assured that your privacy is fully protected as we will not reveal your contact information until you agreed to engage to a particular tutor.

3. What is the procedure to follow if i were to quit tuition the first few lessons?
Student are advised to commit at least one month of tutoring. This allows a minimum period for both the student and the tutor to get used to each other's style of learning and teaching.

4. What if i find that the tutor is unsuitable for me during our first lessons?
Parent is only required to pay for the one lesson fee if the tutor is not suitable for your child. You got the power to choose!

5. How can we ensure that our engaged tutor is qualify?
The student is able to request for the tutor to show them their relevant certifications for verification on the first day of lesson but he/she is required to inform us as an additional request remark.

8. How should the commission be paid?
Student/ parent may choose to pay by bank transfer/ cheque or we will make a trip down to your place to collect the commission fee. Receipt/ Invoice will be issued for payment.

9. What are the range of tutors available?
National University of Singapore (NUS)
NanyangTechnological University (NTU)
Singapore Management University (SMU)
Singapore Instituite of Management (SIM/UNISIM)
and National Institute of Education (NIE, PGDE)

Others:
- Native chinese and English Teacher

4. How is the peer to peer home based computer training goes like?
Student will need to commit at least eight lessons (1.5 hours minimum per lesson) for the training. This training is flexible which means that the fees will be paid based on the students ability to absorb the course. The fees will be paid after each lesson.

7. Is there a trial lesson for Piano lesson & Computer training too?
Yes. If parent decided to hire the piano/IT trainer, therefore the first lesson is chargeable.

FOR TUTORS

1. How will you contact us for new available assignments?
Once you sign up to be a tutor with us, your particulars will be recorded in our database and we will inform you of any suitable assignments through phone/email/sms.

From our range of assignments, you are able to select based on your proficiency level and time available. We have already helped thousands of tutors to earn high tuition fees and constant assignments. Tutor can simply call up or email us to indicate which assignments they are interested to take.

2. How much do i required to pay for the commission to Gratify Tuition Services?
Payment will be made to the tutor directly at the discretion of the student by the parent after he/she completed all the sessions in that month. We charge 50% percents of first month's tuition fee based on the first course of lesson as commission from tutor. We will collect the payment directly from our clients two weeks after the tuition lesson starts.

*During the first month, the Tutor is not allowed to conduct any forms of financial transactions with the parent without the prior knowledge of the agency.

3. Am i required to pay for a sign up registration fee?
No registration fee is required for sign up.

4. What is the procedure to follow if i were to quit during the first few lessons?
Student and tutor are expected to commit at least one month of tutoring. This allows a minimum period for both the student and the tutor to get used to each other's style of learning and teaching.

To prevent misuse of this service, "Gratify Tuition Services" reserves the right to forfeit the fees to tutors who terminate the student's services within the first month of tuition without any valid reasons or charge 50% of the amount they earned if it were the parents who cancelled the tuition. The remaining 50% of the tutor's salary will be made through bank transfer from us.

5. What if the parents find that i am not a suitable tutor for their child during 1st few lessons?
The parents of the student are required to pay the fees based on the number of lesson that the the tutor have attended. 50% of the fees collected will still goes to the agency

6. What will the commission payable to "Gratify Tuition Services" if the parents find that i am not a suitable tutor for their child during 1st few lessons?
The commission payable will be based on the number of lessons that you have attended eg. Monthly tuition fee- $100 No. of lessons attended- 2 (2 hrs x 2 times x 50% of the fees) = $50. Therefore the commission that is payable to us is $25

7. What if the parent decided not to hire me after the first lesson?
"Gratify Tuition Services" regrets that no tuition fees will be payable to the tutor if the parents decided not to hire after the 1st lesson as we have this "first lesson trial "policy. This policy is set to ensure that the tutor is proficient to help the student to achieve results. Rest assured that with your experience and responsibility as a tutor, this kind of situation would not happen.However, this situation rarely occurs. If the parent decided to hire you as their private tutor after the first lesson, the first lesson will therefore be chargeable.

7. What if the parent or tutor cancel any lesson during the first month?
Kindly take note if tutor/ parent were to cancel any lesson within the first month, "Gratify Tuition Services" will still be collecting 50% of the tuition fee as commission based on the total number of lessons as per agreed. The commission will be based on the first course of lessons. Tutors are responsible for make-up lessons in times of postponements / cancellations of lesson to complete the first course of lessons within the first month.This policy is to prevent tutors from cancelling lessons without proper basis.

If parent decided to increase/ reduce the number of lessons per month permanently as stated in the contract, commission fees will then be based on the new arrangment. Tuition Fees will then be settled between the parent and tutor.

*Legal action will be taken against tutor who try to deceive the agency or fail to make payment, in which, the tutor will be liable for any additional legal costs and charges.
